Ceryx is led by industry visionary and sought-after messaging
expert Gus Harsfai, and our team includes highly skilled resources
focused on research and development and customer support. Gus has
more than 17 years experience in the messaging industry and many
of the people who started working with him more than 15 years ago
are still with the company today. Ceryx has deep messaging expertise
and is one of the few Microsoft Gold Certified Partners with multiple
competencies including Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Information
Worker Solutions, Mobility Solutions, Networking Infrastructure
Solutions.
Many of our employees both have advanced degrees in Computer Science
or Engineering and also have industry-specific certifications,
for example from Microsoft and RIM. Our technology team is led
by Dr. David Penny, a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Dr. Penny has
held the roles of CTO and VP R&D at Algorithmics and Electronics
Workbench, two well-regarded Canadian technology success stories.
Dr. Penny is a Professor of Computer Science at the University
of Toronto (currently in an Adjunct capacity), and has been an
industry consultant on software engineering best practices.

Harsfai is one of the leading experts on Microsoft Exchange in
North America and has provided messaging expertise and counsel
to Fortune 500 companies for nearly 20 years. Gus founded the company
that eventually became Ceryx in 1989 and oversaw messaging deployments
and migrations for the Government of Canada, Unilever, Baker and
McKenzie, Pharma Plus, Magna Entertainment, Yellow Pages and other
companies throughout Canada, the United States and South America.
Gus' efforts earned the company the distinction of being the primary
source for email related services throughout the Fortune 500 community.
He is regularly quoted in the media on topics related to messaging,
Microsoft Exchange, and Ceryx' effective approach to spam management
and messaging security.
