Ceryx, a Microsoft Gold Partner of Excellence, is recognized by Microsoft for two new additional specializations in Hosting and Unified Communications

TORONTO - June 12th, 2008 - Ceryx, the leading provider of secure and reliable hosted and managed Microsoft® Exchange Server, email messaging and collaboration software, today announced it has been recognized by Microsoft for two additional areas of specialization - in Microsoft Hosting and Unified Communications.

These new competencies complement an array of specializations already earned by Ceryx, as a Gold Partner of Excellence, including Networking Infrastructure Solutions Competency, Security Solutions Competency, Mobility Solutions Competency and Small Business Specialist Community.

The Unified Communications Solutions competency includes three specializations:

• IM/Presence, designed to showcase expertise in the planning, deployment, and management of instant messaging solutions
• Messaging, designed to showcase expertise in migration and deployment solutions for email and calendaring
• Voice, designed to showcase expertise in implementing VoIP, unified messaging, and conferencing solutions

Ceryx had to achieve four or more solutions competencies within the Microsoft Partner Program in order to qualify for the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Excellence Program. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a technology partner's capabilities with specific Microsoft-based technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that technology partners bring to the industry.
