TORONTO, July 19, 2006 – Messaging service provider Ceryx announced today that Mark Burnett Productions, a leading production company of reality televisions hit shows such as Survivor and The Apprentice, has hired Ceryx to advance and manage their messaging and collaboration system.
Mark Burnett Productions had an ISP POP3-based email system that provided limited messaging functionality and wasn't keeping up with their growing email needs. In their high-demand production environment, they needed instant access to their mail and the ability to collaborate with others.
Since many staff work on their own computers, the production company also had problems supporting users in a complex mixed environment with many different OS versions of both PC and MAC. Finally, when staff is working remotely on location, the IT department found it hard to troubleshoot problems with staff in various time zones around the world.
