At the same time, our high availability and replicated technology - easily accessed through Ceryx's Cloud Control™-ensures you will always have access to any historical messages, even those that have been deleted.

Archiving and Compliance

Our archiving solution ensures that all messages are archived and securely stored in a separate facility. Alternatively, our systems have been designed to work with a number of different archiving vendors and we can accommodate a variety of scenarios, including the requirement to have data reside in a specific geographic location or data center.

Using tamper-proof dedicated WORM (Write Once, Read Many) drives, we provide an authentic, evidentiary quality copy of every message. Whether for compliance or storage purposes, we can store messages for up to 7 years, which is compliant with a number of data regulations including:

SEC Rule 17a-4; NASD Rules 3010, 3013 & 3110; NYSE Rules 342, 440 & 472; RIA SEC Rules 204-2 & 206(4)-7; IDA Bylaw 29.7; FSA, Sarbanes-Oxley Act; HIPAA; GLBA; PIPA & PIPEDA; Patriot Act; Data Protection Act, Basel II, FERC and FCC.

Our archiving solution conforms to National Security Agency (NSA) level encryption for the highest protection of corporate data.

Every subscriber gains secure access to archived email through a convenient browser-based interface allowing clients to view, reply to, forward, print or download historical email.

Data Protection

Our data backup and restore process ensures that even if a recently departed employee deletes a mailbox, Ceryx is able to restore the contents of that mailbox (either through backup or archival) and ensures your organization is never without access to the information it needs.

Ceryx follows industry-best practices in the processes it uses to transport, store and retrieve client data.

Remote Security Control

Through a secure, browser-based control panel, Ceryx client administrators have the ability to secure data outside the firewall. Advanced BlackBerry and mobile management tools allow administrators to remotely wipe, lock or limit the functionality of devices - at the click of a button.
